Peggy Lou Feldmeier Lunchtime Lecture: Schoharie Crossing, a Canal Tour Like Never Before

David Brooks, education director at Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site in Fort Hunter, New York, will present a "virtual tour" of this Montgomery County landmark, which includes the National Historic Landmark Enlarged Erie Canal Schoharie Aqueduct. Brooks will discuss the history and unique features of the site, which interprets and preserves the history of the Erie Canal and its contributions to New York and the nation and is the only location where all three phases of New York's Canals can be seen at once. Admission is $5 per person and free for Museum members. Free parking will be available in Museum-designated spots in the lot across the street under routes 81 and 690.
